This is a classic BERKELEY made with an 82 last from EDWARD GREEN. As you can see from the photo, the leather is excellent calfskin, with a fine surface and taut texture that will impress any shoe shiner. The shoes have been worn quite a bit, so the insole has sunk and is quite broken in. The sole is still likely to last a long time, so this time we installed steel in the toe and replaced the heel. EG has become more and more out of reach, but if you can find a shoe with this leather and in good condition in the right size, it is a gem that you should definitely get.
