To cherish beautiful things, for a long time. For over a decade, Brift H has been conveying a single sentiment through the handiwork of shoe shining: to quietly pass on the values of beauty that remain unchanged, no matter how much time passes. And, not to let things lie dormant in the name of "care," but to elevate the very act of cherishing objects into a culture of its own.

That aspiration eventually and quietly transcended the framework of leather shoes. The land of Africa, Senegal. A Tuareg silver craft workshop, where pieces are still spun solely by hand. cote, a jewelry brand that has captivated people from the forefront of this craft, was an encounter that perfectly reflected the "hand-to-hand" connection and the "story of people connecting with people" that Brift H has always cherished. And now, that collaboration bears fruit once again.

The collaboration of two who have met again, a second encounter—jëëk.

A word coined and inspired by Wolof, the most widely spoken language in Senegal. Within its context, it carries several expressions:

"Always staying one step ahead"
"Standing at the forefront"
"Becoming a pioneer"

── Everything seems to point to that very presence itself.

The chain employs a profound cable structure consisting of thick, substantial round links. Each link is meticulously engraved with the delicate patterns cultivated in the Tuareg workshop; the contrast between the gleaming, polished surfaces of the sterling silver and the shadowy grooves of the oxidation captures and holds the gaze of the wearer.

Furthermore, the fluctuation of the umlaut in the Brift H logo and the diamond-shaped icon symbolizing brilliance have been carefully woven into the design. It is a piece that does not scream for attention, yet possesses a certain presence. It is a work that has chosen to be substantial.

The clasp features scroll engravings that evoke plants and feathers in a hook shape. From the moment it reaches your hands, the expression of each piece, created one by one by the artisan, dwells right there. All of the carvings this time are one-of-a-kind. The exact same pattern does not exist anywhere else in the world.

Mr. Kobayashi, representative of cote. Mr. Mohamed, the artisan who grips the hammer in the Tuareg workshop. After numerous prototypes and earnest dialogues, jëëk was quietly sent out from their hands.

As a bracelet peeking out from a denim cuff. And as a one-of-a-kind presence capable of taking center stage in any outfit. Its profound presence opens the curtain on a new story.
